Our Scouts had a fantastic time visiting the Lakes during the Easter weekend this year. They completed an overnight expedition, hiking over 10 km a day to a campsite where they cooked meals on Trangias, followed by a second day of hike in the picturesque mountains. On Easter Sunday, we went to Coniston and had an exciting session of Ghyll scrambling, travelling up a mountain stream with plenty of climbs, slides and jumps into deep pools!
Thanks must go to all Leaders who gave up their weekend to make this camp possible, and we cannot wait to go there again next year!
